Land F/X features a library of site amenities offered by a number of manufacturers. Through the Site Manager, you can browse these amenities, visualize various configurations of them, and add them to your project. Once you've added a site amenity to your project, you can place it in your SketchUp model.
What is a Land F/X project?
A Land F/X project is the central database that stores all the information about your plants and site amenities. You'll need to "add" these items to a project before you can "place" them in a SketchUp model as components. Haven't started a project yet? Here's how.
Adding Site Amenities in SketchUp: Overview
Open the Site Manager:

LandFX toolbar, Site Amenity Manager button

Land-FX menu, Site Amenity Manager option

The Site Amenities Manager will open.
To add a new site amenity to your project, click New.
The Select Manufacturer dialog box will open.
Supported manufacturers are listed here in alphabetical order. Click a manufacturer's logo to begin specifying a site amenity offered by that manufacturer, or click Generic to begin adding a generic site amenity.

Adding Site Amenities from Manufacturer Catalogs
In the Select Manufacturer dialog box, click a manufacturer’s logo to view that manufacturer's catalog.

1. Change Manufacturer: Click here to see a different manufacturer’s catalog.
2. Use this drop-down menu to filter the current manufacturer’s catalog by amenity category.
3. Amenity types of the selected category are listed below the drop-down menu. Click one to filter by that type.
4. To the right, you'll see thumbnail images of product series within the selected category and type. Click a thumbnail to see the models offered within that series.
5. Click this link to visit the manufacturer’s website.
When you click a series thumbnail image, the dialog box will switch to the model selection and configuration view.
1. Click the X in the upper right corner to return to the series selection view.
2. The current manufacturer, amenity type, and product series are shown at the top.
3. Models within the selected product series are listed on the left. Click a model to select it.
4. The name, description, and webpage link of the selected model are displayed.
5. Use the tabs and circular swatches to configure the selected model’s materials and colors.

6. A live preview of the selected model is shown on the right. It will update in real time as you configure its materials and colors.
7. Click Add to Project>> to add the selected model, as configured, to your project.

The amenity will now be listed in the Site Manager.
Adding Generic Site Amenities
1. Use the search bar to filter by keywords.
2. Click these buttons to either expand or collapse the navigation tree.
3. Click categories and subcategories to navigate the library.
4. Thumbnail images of models within the selected category and search criteria are shown on the right. Click on a model to see information about it.
5. Use the buttons in the upper right corner to switch views between list, details, small thumbnails, and large thumbnails.

When a category is selected from the navigation tree, checkboxes appear that can be used for further filtering within that category.
When a model is selected, a panel with more information about that model will pop in from the right side of the window. Click Cancel to close the panel, or click Add to add the model to your project.
If you click Add, the Site Info dialog box will open.
In the Description field, enter relevant information for this amenity. The first line of text will be used as the amenity’s name. Subsequent lines of text will be used as further remarks.
Click OK to finish adding the amenity to your project.

The amenity will now be listed in the Site Manager.
