Labels and Schedule Not Correct, Verify Labels Incorrectly Showing Plants as Unlabeled, or Group Plant Labels Have No Quantities (Using Our Planting F/X for Revit® Plugin)

Issue

You're using our Planting F/X for Revit Plugin, and you're having one or more of the following issues:

  • Labels and schedule are not correct.
  • The Verify Labels tool is showing plants as unlabeled when they are in fact labeled.
  • Group plant labels have no quantities (as pictured to the right).
Group plant labels have no quantities

Cause

One of the plants in the group was created with the native Revit Copy command or one of the native Revit Array tools. These native tools do not copy plants in the correct way to update the tracking data Land F/X attaches for labels and Verify Labels.

Solution

To prevent this issue in future plane, only use Land F/X tools to place, copy, and array your plants. Do not use native Revit tools.

To resolve this issue in the present plan:

1. From the Planting F/X Plant Manager in Revit, place a new plant of the same species as the plant(s) causing the issue.

2. Use our Match Properties tool to fix the data in the already-placed plants. Note that you will need to re-label these plants.

Wnen placing, copying, or arraying any additional plants in this plan, take care to use Land F/X tools rather than native Revit tools.
