What to Do If You Used the Same Land F/X Project on Multiple Drawing Files
Issue
You assigned the same Land F/X project to multiple drawing files in CAD. You need to either assign the correct project to each drawing or disassociate the project from one or more drawing files.
Solution
If you simply want to disassociate the project from the drawing(s), you can use the HYPERLINKBASE command. See our instructions for disassociating a drawing from a project.
If you've used the same project on multiple drawing files, simply open each drawing file and follow our steps to select the correct project for that drawing. Click Open, then save the drawing so it reassociates itself with that newly assigned project.
Once each drawing has its proper project assigned, you'll need to ensure the correct items are in their respective managers – for example, the correct plants are listed in the Plant Manager. You can do so quickly by running the relevant schedule so the system can verify the placed Land F/X objects:
Note any missing items, and follow our steps to bring them back in:
As an alternative, you can also use the relevant Import tool, browse to the correct project, and bring in all needed items that way:
It's extremely important that you create a new project for each new job. Different plan types in the same job that might be in different DWG files (concept, planting, irrigation, site, details, etc) can and should use the same project, but a new job needs a new project. Creating a new project for each new job ensures that changes you make to the items to that project will not affect your other existing previous jobs.
