Error: Saving Data (Creating a Detail Folder in Detail Explorer)

Issue

When attempting to create a detail folder in the Detail Explorer, you received an error message similar to the following:

Error: Saving data

Cause

This error can result from corruption in a file named _index_.xml, which controls your detail folder system. We've also seen it occur because of a connection problem with a shared online detail storage location using a service such as Dropbox.

Solution

1. Follow our steps to revert the detail index file (_index_.xml) to the previous restored version.

2. Try creating a detail folder in the Detail Explorer again. You should now be able to create the folder without issue.
