LandFX has a wonderful knowledge base and forums, except for one major topic: FREELANCING. Can you please host a webinar or add to the knowledge base talking about best practices for freelancers? I am in desperate need of the current best practices and knowledge base articles to integrate with multiple firms that use LandFX (both on a server and on the cloud). What are other freelancers doing? How do I streamline the process, so that on-boarding with other firms is fast? Are there multiple methods? What are the pros and cons for different methods? Are there future LandFX changes with respect to freelancers that I should prepare for? If changes are coming, are there things that I should be doing or avoiding to make a transition smoother?

Here are some resources and answers to some of your questions.
First, the best method of Freelancing is to maintain your own license and installation, and transfer the data back and forth. (Note, this does present an issue if they are working on the project at the same time, so it may require splitting a project into sub-projects to better allow bringing in your data).
You would also need their Preferences, though this typically just needs to be done once, while the Project will be sent back and forth many times.
Their custom blocks will be needed as well. This is an easy one to over-complicate. I think the easiest is for them to just send over a dwg of a good example plan, done using the same Preference Set. This way you can simply WBlock out any custom blocks as necessary. If this is going to be a repeat client, you could assemble these custom blocks into a single block, that can easily be placed from Discipline Graphics when you are beginning a job.
And as I said, this is absolutely something we have been planning, albeit in the very early stages. One option is to just build something into the Portal, although this would require both using Cloud Data, and would present some security challenges.
Another thought has been to create a companion web site, offering Gig style work on Land F/X projects. It could store the project files, preferences, custom blocks and other CAD standards, and have control over versioning and payment. But obviously this an entirely new business plan, and so it gets a bit mired on whether it should be fully owned and operated by us, or partner with someone else, or what.
But until such time as we can make it more seamless, most freelancers are working in the same way they would without Land F/X - typically a shared Dropbox folder, and some simple standards regarding folder naming and version control of files. Simply add to that the LFX data files.
There's a couple webinar slots this year that just might work, let me get with the team and see if we can fit this in.

The idea is frankly still stuck in deep conceptual, on if it should be an additional paid service, how to incorporate the multiple additional levels of security and data backup, and so on. So it’s alway nice to get some feedback early on.
